PEERS® for Careers
Overview
PEERS® for Careers is an evidence-based social skills program designed to support autistic individuals and other neurodiverse young adults in developing the skills needed to succeed in the workplace. The program focuses on building practical workplace social skills, interviewing techniques, and strategies for navigating workplace challenges. Participants also learn skills related to networking, organization, conflict resolution, and resume building. Through structured lessons, role-plays, and practice assignments, participants gain both confidence and practical experience to help prepare them for the workforce. In addition, caregivers or support persons accompany adults throughout the program to help reinforce skills outside of sessions and promote generalization to real-world settings with the goal of supporting long-term career success!
